Villa Sabine is situated on the most beautiful avenue in Merano: quiet, green, sunny, flat, and yet conveniently close to the center. The villa itself is surrounded by our garden and trees. In our garden, you will find a sunbathing lawn and various seating areas with lovely sunny spots.
The city center of Merano, about 1 km away, as well as numerous sights, cycling paths, and hiking trails, are easily accessible within a few minutes on foot. In winter, we are close to various Christmas markets(Merano, Forst, Lagundo...) and offer an ideal location to explore the diverse ski areas of South Tyrol. The train station and bus stops, which connect you with the whole of South Tyrol, are also reachable in less than five minutes. Numerous restaurants and bars are also nearby.
Villa Sabine serves as an ideal starting point for direct access to other hiking paradises and valleys, such as Vinschgau, Passeier, and Ulten. Furthermore, major South Tyrolean attractions, such as the tower at Lake Reschen, the Dolomites, Ötzi, and more, are also easily accessible with relatively short travel times.
Arrival by train:
Villa Sabine is just a 10-minute walk from Meran's main station, making it easily accessible on foot.
Meran train station is accessible via regional trains from Bolzano (45 minutes), while Bolzano can be reached by Italian high-speed trains (Freccia, Italo) and international trains from Vienna and/or Munich.
For planning your arrival by public transport, we recommend using the "südtirolmobil" app, which provides digital timetables for public transport in South Tyrol.

From Bozen:
Via the motorway Bolzano - Merano, Exit Merano Centre
From Reschen:
State road Reschen Street - Bozen, Exit Meran Centre
From the Exit Meran Centre:
Take the first exit at the first roundabout and the second exit at the second roundabout after the tunnel until you reach the third roundabout, directly in front of the main railway station, there take the second exit in the direction of the Andreas Hofer monument.
From there, follow Andreas Hofer Street to the next roundabout and continue straight onto St. Franziskus Street.
At the second crossroads, turn left onto Karl Wolf Street.
After a few meters, there is a road sign on the right with the inscription "Villa Sabine." Turning right there, a small access road leads directly between the houses to our garden and car park at Villa Sabine.
From the Jaufen street
Via the state road directly to the center of Merano.
Through the underpass of the Merano thermal baths, turn right over the Theatre Bridge.
Continue straight along Rennweg street until you reach the Vinschgau Gate.
After the gate, continue straight on Goethe Street until you reach the first roundabout.
From there, turn right in the direction of St. Franziskus Street.
At the second intersection, turn left onto Karl Wolf Street.
After a few meters, there is a street sign on the right side indicating "Villa Sabine." Turn right there; a small access road leads directly between the houses to our garden and car park at Villa Sabine.
